Why I Built Rewind

Rewind Anti-Aging wasn't born from a business plan. It was born from a personal crisis. The story is short and the moral is simple: the care I needed didn't exist, so I built it.

The Problem

In my mid-40s, I found myself dealing with something I couldn't engineer my way out of. Despite a successful career — graduating with honors from the University of Michigan's School of Engineering, consulting at Accenture, and building Infinity Consulting Group into a $10M+ annual revenue company before it was acquired by The Hackett Group (NASDAQ: HCKT) — my body was failing me.

Depression. Chronic fatigue. Weight gain that wouldn't respond to diet or exercise. Brain fog that made the sharpness I'd relied on my entire career feel like a distant memory. At The Hackett Group, I'd managed 60+ consultants and delivered $20M+ in annual revenue. Now I could barely get through the day.

The Discovery

Like the engineer I am, I refused to accept "you're just getting older" as an answer. I dove into the research. What I found was that the symptoms I was experiencing — the fatigue, the weight gain, the depression, the cognitive decline — weren't inevitable consequences of aging. They were symptoms of hormonal imbalance, and they were treatable.

I started hormone replacement therapy. Within five months, I lost over 30 pounds. My energy returned. The depression lifted. My mental clarity came back sharper than ever. It wasn't a gradual improvement — it was a transformation.

The Gap

Excited by my own results, I wanted to help others experience the same transformation. But when I looked at the existing landscape of anti-aging clinics, I was disappointed. Cookie-cutter protocols. Impersonal care. Clinics more interested in volume than outcomes. Nobody was doing it the way I believed it should be done — with rigorous diagnostics, personalized treatment plans, and genuine ongoing support.

The Solution

So I built it myself. I brought an engineer's rigor and three decades of building and scaling businesses — from Accenture to founding Infinity Consulting Group (acquired by The Hackett Group, NASDAQ: HCKT) to launching Keyhole Media — and applied that same discipline to anti-aging medicine. Rewind Anti-Aging of Miami opened in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami, built on a simple premise: treat every patient the way I wished I had been treated. Start with comprehensive bloodwork. Build a treatment plan based on data, not guesswork. Monitor results and adjust. And never stop being available when a patient has questions.

Over the past 11 years, Rewind has served thousands of patients — both locally in Miami and from across the United States. What started as one man's personal health journey has become a trusted practice helping men and women reclaim their vitality, confidence, and quality of life.
